The  name  HUB  is  derived  from  the  English  term  hub:  a  place  where  people  meet  and  activities  flow.  HUB  is   synonymous  with  Street  Fashion.  Street  Fashion  develops  in  the  subcultures  of  urban  areas,  meeting  places  for   creative  people.  HUB  is  definitely  not  a  sports  brand,  but  its  designs  are  heavily  influenced  by  tennis,  because   of  the  background  of  its  two  founders.  HUB  designs  have  a  casual  and  clean  look and   HUBbies  can  always  be  worn  with  jeans.  A  characteristics  of  these  shoes  is  the  orange  Z-­‐stitch,  which  functions   as  a  connector. HUB's  iconic  Z-­‐stitch  is  more  than  a  physical  connection  on  the  sneakers,  where  it  is   connecting  the  materials.  It  is  also  a  metaphorical  connection  and  it  gives  people  the  opportunity  to  connect   with  their  hub.  

HUB  wants to  show  the  customer  the  unique  combination  between  the  product  benefits  and  the  values  of  the   brand.  So  the  values  of  HUB  are  connected  to  the  values  or  lifestyle  of  the  consumer.  This  concerns  the  fact  that   the  consumer  is  not  buying  a  HUB  shoe,  but  the  HUB  brand.

   This  statement  reflects  the  identity  of  the  brand.  It  shows  not  only  that  the  consumer  is  connecting  with  the   HUB  brand,  but  also  connecting  with  a  hub.  The  place  where  the  consumer  feels  connected.  For  example,  it  can   be  your  home  town  or  a  place  where  you  like  to  go  to  relax  or  go  out.  So  it  is  a  matter  of  connecting  the   consumer  to  a  place  where  the  consumer  wants  to  be,  which  then  creates  the  connection  with  HUB.        Music,  art  and  creativity  creates  the  connection  between  the  people  and  HUB

HUB Footwear delivers fresh models for the spring summer collection 2012.

When summer arrives, it's time to kick back and enjoy life. Meet your friends in the park and have some drinks, camp out and party at a festival, take a swim and enjoy the beaches, and see new sights while on vacation. HUB Footwear is ready to connect everyone to their favorite summer hub. With a complete restyling of the spring/summer collection HUB Footwear shows it's progression as a brand and it's forward-thinking attitude. The new collection is truly a perfect fit for the summer, with the introduction of classy, light and low cut models, flip flops and a sneaker collection.

To give the summer a fresh start HUB Footwear has redesigned the entire women's collection. The 'Street 21' collection now carries six new models, the Ibiza, Biarritz, Queenie, Eisho, Eiri, and Bali. While the Queenie, Ibiza and Eisho remind us of classic HUB models, the low cut Bali, Eiri and Biarritz models show a new side of HUB Footwear. These low cut models with a light and vibrant feel are ideal for the summer and with new colors - aqua, citron and pinkish - added to the already existing palette of colors, they look even more fresh. The most important material for the summer is canvas, to provide breathing and soothing footwear for the summer.

The men's collection consists of two lines, 'Street 11' and 'Street 21'. The 'Street 11' line consists of the classic cupsole models and also introduces the new Chucker model. A low cut model, that comes in suede, leather and canvas. The 'Street 21' collection consists of vulcanized soles and brings three new models, the Ashbury, Boss, Frisco and Vegas. For the men's collection the most important material is suede, which results in a clean design and comfortable summer footwear.

The fashion line sees the introduction of the crepe sole for men and women. In the women's collection the new model Buckie has been supplied with the crepe sole, and for men's the Bolton comes with crepe sole, both models consist of a waxed suede material. The crepe sole is a new sole within the HUB collection and supplies an even more comfortable and flexible outer sole.

With the addition of flip flops to the men's and women's collection, HUB Footwear takes the summer seriously. Let the sand run through your toes, and indulge yourself in all the pleasures that the beach have to offer. The lightweight, rubber based flip flop is available in a range of subtle earth tone colors for men. The women's collections also brings silver, gold and white colored flip flops.

For the summer of 2012 HUB Footwear also created a separate sneaker collection. This collection carries the classic men styles; Kingston, Subway and Chucker and is available in suede and nylon. The sneaker collection stands out from the rest of the collection because of the bright colors and the contrasting sole, creating vivid footwear for the outgoing audience. The sneakers collection will only be available at selected sneaker retail points.
