Carne Bollente is a free and independent Paris based brand established in 2014* focusing on the relation between sex and positivity to allow people to embrace their own sexuality and kinks through their clothes. By pairing straightforward streetwear staples with scenic sex illustrations that manage to cover a wide scope of sexual taboos without verging on the problematic we inject irreverence and provocation into no-frills basics.

Sex positivity

Carne Bollente wants everyone to feel confident, safe and free about their sexual identity including gender expression, orientation, relationship with their bodies and also reproductive rights. Through their creations, they seek to positively change cultural attitudes and norms around sexuality and are hoping to promote the recognition of different sexual identities. Every year, the brand donates a portion of its clothes to AIDES in Paris for charity events and 100% of the profits of the charity event sales are used to fight against AIDS and HIV. 


At Carne Bollente, sustainability is first and foremost about creating high-quality products that can be used for a long time. Furthermore, they aim to use eco-friendly materials such as organic cotton and certified materials. For example over 60% of their SS21 collection is made of 100% organic cotton. In addition to their practice in sustainable sourcing, the brand tries to centralise its production and logistic operation. Today, almost all of their fabrics are sourced from Portuguese suppliers and all their products are manufactured at factories that respect their workers in north Portugal. Since 2019, Carne Bollente moved its wholesale logistic operation to the same region, which allows them to significantly reduce their carbon footprint. The brand wants to take responsibility for its activities for generations to come.
